Goal of the Day: Keep a Food Journal

If you don’t already, today keep a food journal: write down everything that passes your lips, when you eat, portion sizes/amounts. It’s also good to note down how you felt, such as your energy levels or headaches. If you look back at it at the end of the day you can see patterns which may be attributed to what you ate/drank or didn’t eat/drink. There is also evidence that keeping a food journal makes us naturally cut down on the rubbish we eat and also eat less. Just don’t lie on it…you’re only lying to yourself.
