Inspirational Woman of the Day: Gwyneth Paltrow

Now I’m not saying we should have movie-star dedication, but I love Ms Paltrow’s attitude towards exercise and her honesty about keeping her body in shape!

‘It’s not an accident. It’s not luck, it’s not fairy dust, it’s not good genes. It’s killing myself for an hour and a half five days a week, but what I get out of it is relative to what I put into it.
‘That’s what I try to do in all areas of my life’,
 ‘The reason that I can be 38 and have two kids and wear a bikini is because I work my [expletive] ass off.’
Who can argue with that?

Goal of the Day:  
Its not necessary to do Gwyneth Paltrow’s intense workout, but today just get out there and do a minimum of 20-30 minutes exercise, any exercise!

Tip of the Day:
Stay hydrated! Don’t leave drinking water to just during your workout or afterwards.  Keeping yourself well hydrated starts first thing in the morning and ends last thing at night. Try to drink 2l of water throughout your day. People often tell me this isn’t always easy, but if you carry a 1l water bottle with you and fill it up, you can sip at it all day. I carry my water bottle everywhere! Some of those closest to me call it my ‘sippy-cup’ – I cannot be without it : )
